USAID's program meeting "She’s Next, Empowered by Visa" in Mestia
December 8, 2023 - Mestia
In a vibrant session at the Mestia Municipality Hall, the USAID-supported "Business Ideas Competition for Women" is in full swing. Partnering with Visa and the Women for the Future business federation, the competition, titled "She's Next, Empowered by Visa," is spotlighting women entrepreneurs in its 4th wave in Georgia.
This year's format focuses on a business ideas competition, inviting any Georgian woman with a business idea to participate. Ten finalists will undergo master classes, with the top three receiving a substantial prize of 10,000 GEL each. The competition aims to empower and support female entrepreneurs in Georgia, offering resources, including funding opportunities.
The event, attended by private sector representatives and women entrepreneurs, is a hub for networking. Attendees are also getting insights into "FINservice Audit LLC," an auditing company ready to assist with grant programs and business plans.
As the USAID-supported program unfolds in Mestia, it stands as a catalyst for empowering and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among Georgian women.
