Village Makhashi

Makhashi is a historical village in Lower Svaneti, located 42 kilometers from Lentekhi at an altitude of 1480 meters above sea level.

In the village there are examples typical of Svan traditional architecture, you can see old Svan houses - Machubi, the same as "Lushnu Qoor". To the east, a little far from the village, there is the Makhashi Church of the Archangel, which is also a historical monument of the Middle Ages.
